Playing catch up...

Back in March we went for a weekend at my grandparents ranch. It was my mom and I and the kids. We had such a good time. Hayden had a blast seeing the baby cows and going fishing in Gaga's pond. She got up on the hay bail and posed so cute.
Jack was carried around in the baby bjorn carrier all weekend. Thanks Mimi for the help!
Hayden got to help Gaga prepare the calf formula and feed the babies. Their names are Lucky and Casey.
Little cow girl in her pink boots :)

I don't even know where to start to try and catch up. It's really been like 3 months since I have posted anything worthy. I think I am just going to post a few highlights and then try to be a better blogger and go from there. Sounds good to me! May be some random pics and post but it's just gonna have to do.

Way behind!

I have soooo much to write about I don't even know where to start. We have been doing a lot and been very busy which is why I haven't blogged I guess. My goal this week is to update and post what pics I have, still can't find my camera card. Why not go buy a new one??? No clue! Updates to come.

I'm 6 months old!

Our sweet baby boy turned 6 months old on March 29th. He is so much fun right now! He is rolling everywhere. As soon as you lay him down whatever position he's in he rolls to the opposite. He is sitting up on his own and loves to sit on a blanket on the floor and play with his toys. He could do it for hours. He also loves his johnny jump up. He loves to bounce and I think it will help when he gets ready to pull up and stand on things. He is teething but nothing yet! He is pretty miserable with that and I hate him being in pain. Hayden had a hard time too so I know there is light at the end of this chapter. We love you Jack!

Stats:
15.3 lbs (3rd %)
25 inches (5th %)

Oh my gosh!!!!

It's been sooo long since I've blogged. I can't upload pics from my camera because my sweet girl lost my memory card. I know it's around here somewhere just haven't searched that hard for it yet. Luckily all the pics that were on it have been uploaded to the computer so I don't think anything will be missing if we don't find it. Lots going on in the last several weeks. Jack turned 6 months and is doing so much. He is so precious and a joy to our family. Haydi Kate is loving school and growing up way to fast. I just want to freeze time and have them stay this age forever. I am having so much fun with them and can't wait until this summer when we can do lots outside and enjoy our swimming pool. It's going to be great! My BFF is prego with her first and I am throwing her a shower in 3 weeks. I have been scrambling trying to get stuff ready for that. I am making lots of the decorations and things myself and have really had a blast doing it. I have found my inner crafter :) I will posts pics when it's over, I know she reads my blog and I don't want to ruin anything...love ya Lili. I will post a pic from my phone of Jackson and update his stats from his 6 month checkup. I hope to be able to update more often and definitely when I have some pics to share. Lots of fun stuff ahead for the summer, can't wait !!!!!

Jackson Daniel :)

Last Monday I took Jack to the doctor for his 4 month well visit and everything went great! He weighs 12 lbs 4.5 ounces (5th percentile) and is 24 inches long (15th percentile). I was pretty surprised about his weight because I was sure he was bigger than that. I think he is short so he just seems chubby. He has rolls and all that good stuff and Dr. Joki said he is a happy healthy boy. Dr. Joki had to remind me that Jack was a month early and so really he would only be 3 months and for a 3 month old he is big. He reminded me that he is competing with full term 4 month olds which makes me feel better. He has met all his milestones and the doctor told me that I can introduce solids if I want or I can wait until closer to 6 months. He felt like he would do well either way. I have tried rice cereal, bananas, applesauce, and squash and he loves it all. I knew he would because he is a little piggy. I started solids with Hay at 4 months and she did great so I thought I would try and I guess he's ready too. This is a whole new chapter we are heading into with him and I love this stage. He was pretty colicky for a while and I think that is all coming to and end too...I hope. He still doesn't sleep through the whole night and gets up 1 or 2 times to nurse which is ok with me. I know he is my last one and I love breast feeding so I am going to enjoy it as long as he wants to. I love that time at night with him :) I also don't have to get up and go to work in the morning so it really doesn't matter to me. I am still just working PRN and it is wonderful for our family and my babies. I am so blessed that I get to stay home pretty much every day with them. I have the best husband that takes such good care of our family and allows me to do that.

Hayden Kate is loving MDO. I knew my little social butterfly would do fabulous. She loves her teacher and talks about her all the time and the mornings she goes to school she is rushing me out the door. Mrs. Kim gives lots of hugs and tells them all she loves them when they leave each day. When I go to pick her up she is so happy to see me and can't stop talking about her friends and what she did that day. I am so blessed that she has a teacher she loves and that has made it so much easier for me and her. On another note with missy, she has slept all night in her own bed for 4 straight nights now. Those who know our struggle with this know what a big deal this is. It wasn't so much her not being ready as it was mommy and daddy. We truly loved having out sweetie in the bed with us and it was kind of sad for us that she did so well with it. She takes her naps in there too which I hate because I loved nothing more than to snuggle with both my babies for an afternoon nap. Oh well, it's part of her growing up and I am so proud of her. She is proud of herself too because she tells us each morning how good she did and what a big girl she is and that she needs a surprise.

Well sorry for the long post but alot to be thankful for and talk about. My babies are just the best and we are loving life right now. Jack has been such a little blessing to our family and we feel very complete and happy. God is good and has blessed us in so many ways!
