Spring Day Fun

Finally the weather is nice and we can enjoy spending some time outside. Everybody is well and we are through with that awful winter to spring transition so we are loving it. These are just a random day spent outside playing. In the evening when Daddy gets home it's always a big deal so if the weather is nice we are outside playing and waiting to greet him.

Sitting on the swing waiting on Daddy.

Dance class coming to an end

Dance class is almost over for this year :( Hayden has loved it so much. She has never not wanted to go and has always done her best and been so enthusiastic about learning.

We have a performance this weekend at Mayfest and then the spring recital is at the end of the month. So really we only have a few more classes. Mommy is sad too because I have met some really great moms and have enjoyed our hour to chit chat while the girls are in class. We are all going to sign up for the same class next year and bonus is it will be the same teacher. That will be great for the girls because they have all become really comfortable with Mrs. Ann Marie.

I know she's my child but she does really well in class. I think we have found a "thing" for her. Don't get me wrong, we are going to try lots of hobbies and sports. We hope to try soccer in the fall after she turns 4 and then I would really like for her to try cheerleading also. We will see. Jack hasn't even started stuff yet so it really is all depending time and our schedule.

This is just part of the class. We were missing 2 girls that day. They are so stinkin cute.

Getting ready to go...She is always waiting on me and having to say "come on mommy, lets go".

Look who's 18 months...really 19 months

Jackson Daniel turned 18 months on March 29th. I'm a little late posting this but anywho...
Jack went for his 18 month well visit on April 13th. His weight was 20 lbs even and his length was 30.5. He is not even on the chart for his weight, tiny little guy and his length is about the 5th %. Dr. Joki was pleased with his development other wise and just thinks he is so active that there is nothing to be concerned about. He said we would just watch it and make sure he's gaining by his 2 year check up. He got 3 shots to get him all up to date on his immunizations and he did so well as always. I'm very lucky that both my babies tolerate their immunizations so well and have never had any problems or reactions. Otherwise, everything is great. He is super smart, which we already knew ;). Talking well, developing great. He is much different than Hayden was though. She was much more independent and he always has to know where I am and be checking on me. He is definitely mischevious and gets into EVERYTHING. He is super busy and if he is not sleeping or eating he is on the move. Just very active and tiny. His sister is 3 1/2 and still only 28 lbs so I don't think he has much of a chance. We just love our little Bubba and can't imagine what life was like without him. I say that all the time and felt the same way after our Hayden was born but I really can't believe he hasn't always been with us. Scott and I say all the time, what did we ever do before our kids. We must have had a really boring life, ha. Anyway, we are so lucky to have Jack and are so blessed that God chose us to be his parents and to take care of this little angel. We love you Jackson!!!!!

March of Dimes walk

We did the March of Dimes walk back on April 16th. We walked for my sweet baby niece Payton Marie Grier. She left us way to early and this was a way for the family to give back and I think it was really good for my sister in law and brother.

The Mommy and Daddy of an angel.

Nana and Casey (my brother)

Funny she is leaning on the sign that says no parking or STANDING.

Me and mom...we did the 5 mile walk in about 2 1/2 hours. It was at White Rock lake and was just beautiful. The weather was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better day.

My loves

Just a cute pic of my babies...lookin' all springy. I'm so ready for warm weather and summer time. Usually I'm a fall and holiday type girl but this year I am really excited about summer. I think it's because they are both older and I think we will have so much fun this year. We have lots of fun things planned this summer and we are super excited. I'm just ready to get the kids out in the pool and just play play play. Plus, by Haydie Kate will be out of school. I appreciate the break don't get me wrong but I love having both of them home with me. I really miss her when she's gone.

Picture Day!!!

Today is picture day at school and I had to get a quick shot before we left the house this morning. This is Hayden's second year in MDO so it's picture day #2. Last year they were precious and her first "school pictures" so of course I bought way too many so I hope they turn out just as cute this year. I can't wait to see them but had to share a little pic of her all dressed up. It's from my phone so it's a little blurry. I am still on new camera hunt so a new fancy camera is in my near future.

Easter Bunny 2011

Lindsay and I took all three of the kids to see the Easter Bunny last week. They all three did surprisingly well. Nobody cried or got scared. Jack had his pouty face on but at least he didn't cry.
