Prayers and good thoughts!

Well, I can't keep it a secret anymore. The baby dust worked and we are expecting our second baby. I just found out a week ago so we are still very early. I don't even go to the doctor for another few weeks. I just wanted everyone to know so you can send good thoughts and lots of prayer our way. I can't keep a secret and this is exciting news that I can't keep to myself. I was going to wait until we were out of our first trimester but that's just not me. We are due in October, so very far away, but I can be patient, I know what comes out of it. Scott and I are so thankful for this sweet little angel God has given us. I am super excited Hayden will be a big sister. I will keep you all posted on everything and let you know how it's going. Lots of Love!

Twilight

Ok, so I am totally addicted to the Twilight books. I finished the first one, Twilight, this week and am starting on the second, New Moon. I read the first one in less than a week, which is good for me with a 17 month old. I can't put them down. I totally recommend them!

Not much going on

This is missy at my parents for the super bowl. She looks a little pouty, but she was having a good time.
We tried pig tails this day. Not quite long enough yet, but I thought she looked cute.
She loves sitting in this chair and watching Mickey Mouse with her juice cup.
Bubble baths are her fav right now.
I have seen so many pictures of kids doing this but it is still funny when you see it.

I feel like I haven't been blogging like I should. There is just not much going on right now. Hayden is fabulous, busy as ever. Sometimes I wonder why do I want another one right now? How will I ever keep up with two? Then I just think she will be another year older and surely easier. Anyway, Scott is stressed at work like usual. My work is slow right now so I am getting cancelled like crazy, good thing is I get to stay home with my precious girl. There is a lot coming up. Casey and Liz's engagement party is this Saturday. I have baby and wedding showers I am hosting at my house over the next several months and then hopefully we will be getting ready for a baby of our own soon. Send me some baby dust! Here are some random pics of Hayden over the last few weeks. Enjoy!

Sweet husband

I have the sweetest hubby ever. Last week Scott thought he was in the dog house (he really was, but that is a story I do not want to get into) anyway... he sent me the most beautiful flowers which totally made up for any reason I was mad at him. I felt so guilty for even being angry when he was sweet enough to do this. I think this is probably my V-day flowers too, ha ha!

Cutie Pie!

I just thought this was a really cute picture of Hayden. She is getting so big and looked like such a big girl in this pic. Where has the time gone? It seems like I was just pregnant and then bringing her home from the hospital. It's so much fun though! Hope you enjoy :)

Night shift no more!

Yay! No more night shift for mama. I officially worked my last night shift Sunday night. I am only PRN so I shouldn't complain but nights were still the pits. I am officially day shift now. I am so excited and ready for this. I will actually feel human again when I go to work. I worked night shift for 3 1/2 years and maybe it's different after having a baby but my body does not do well with it anymore. Just wanted to update about this exciting time in our lives. It works so much better for our family and Hayden gets some grandparent time while mama and daddy are at work. Since we are trying to get pregnant now I think it will be better for everybody. No more cranky mom!

Happy New Year!

Well, it's been a busy year but with a number of blessings. I don't even know where to start with all the ways we are blessed. We have our amazing baby girl who amazes me every day with how much she grows and changes. I have a wonderful husband who I love very much and am so thankful for. We have great family and friends and a beautiful home. We both have great jobs the most important being parents. It's been great and I can't wait to see what 2009 holds for us.
