Birthday party crafts

I did a candy bar and these were the cute little glass bowls and jars that I put them in. I don't think I have a pic of the finished product though. Hopefully someone took a pic for me.

The birthday banner I made. The cricut is my new best friend.

The door wreath. It's hard to read but it says the party is here.

Lollipop decorations I made. Again, I don't know if I have any pics of them actually decorated and around the house. You get the idea though.

The goody bags for the candy bar. The sticker on it says "thank you for making my 3rd birthday so sweet" It has a big H and Hayden across it. The other sign was displayed on the candy bar table. Hayden's sweet shop.

First Day!

Last week Hayden started back at Mother's Day Out. This was on our way out the door as we were finishing up getting ready. She does so great when I drop her off. She puts her things away in her cubby and gives me kisses and hugs and tells me bye bye.

Back pack on and all ready to leave. Daddy went into work late and went with me to drop her off. She was so proud of her class room and had a great first day.

At the fountain in front of school. She was so wound up she would not look at me for the picture.

Dance class!

We registered Haydie for dance class a couple of weeks ago. She won't start until Aug 30th but we had to model our new shoes and play around a bit. She's going to take ballet/tap/tumbling. It's going to be so cute and I can't wait for it to start.

I'll post more pics when we actually start and we see how she does.

Meet the teacher night

A couple of weeks ago before school started we went up to Tate Springs and met her teacher. She is in the 3 year old class now and her new teacher is Mrs. Danielle. Her class room is a lot bigger this year and it looks like there is going to be lots of fun new activities for her to do. She has her own cubby like last year but this year she goes in each morning and puts her lunch and nap mat and backpack away herself. So cute! She was very excited to go and see her new class and we can't wait to start back.

Mimi's 75th

Saturday we headed down to Glen Rose to Mimi and Grandaddy's ranch for Mimi's birthday celebration. She turned the big 75! My uncle and cousins were there and of course all of us, Mom, Dad, Casey, Liz, Matthew and Lindsey. My aunt Shirley and cousin Julie came from The Woodlands and it was so nice to see them. We had hamburgers and hot dogs and played ladder golf and visited. It was a really nice day!
Bubba being silly and the center of attention of course.
Hayden "helping" Mimi open her gifts.
Somebody got in the cake...can't imagine who would have done that.
The gang!

Hayden's hair cut

I took Miss Priss to get her hair cut last weekend. She hasn't had it cut but one other time right before she turned 1. It was half way down her back and getting a little raggedy looking so we chopped. The lady cute more than 6 inches off. It looks way better and much more healthy.
The ends look better and her hair looks thicker.
I didn't realize how thin and fried it looked. I took this one right before we went in. I took her to cool cuts for kids and she loved it. She got to sit in a yellow car and and watch Toy Story while they cut. She did fabulous!
Just a cute pic before we left. She is such a ham.

My girl!

Just a cute pic of Hayden Kate that her daddy took yesterday. Love this little girl and I can't believe she's almost 3.
