So much to do, so little time...

Ok, so I don't know why I am sitting here blogging when there is a million things I could and should be doing. We have been so busy the last few weeks and will continue to be for the next 2. We haven't been home much and when we are we have so much to do. We spent several days getting our pool all ready for the summer, which if you have a pool and do your own maintenance you totally understand. There was a lot of extra stuff to do for the pool this summer and it took several days. When I say "we" of course I mean Scott. One of my best friends is getting married in less than 2 weeks and it was kind of a surprise date. She was originally getting married in October in San Antonio which was months away. She called me a few weeks ago and said they had a great opportunity if they moved up the date. I say of course we will be there when is it???? She says July 8th, wow, that is soon. She asked me to be a bridesmaid and my beautiful Hayden Kate to be a flower girl. Of course I said absolutely and we would be there with bells on. I would do anything for this girl and am happy to be a part of her special day. I also get a weekend trip to San Antonio so double win. Anyway, we are also going to Richland Chambers Lake for the weekend of the 4th with our family and dear family friends. I can't wait for that, there will be probably 20 or more people there. We plan on eating lots, swimming and playing in the lake and fireworks. 4th of July is so much fun and we are going to be with lots of fun people so we are really looking forward to it. I work tomorrow and then am done for a couple of weeks. I should have lots of pics to post over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned...

More outside fun...

The sprinklers have been another fun thing outside. Our pool is still in the process of getting ready for the season so we aren't able to get in yet :( Anything to keep these kids outside and wet is good.

Lately we have been venturing outside late afternoon early evening when Daddy is coming home. I bought the kids this really neat water table and that has been the greatest thing ever.

Tyson and Lennox have really loved it too. They play around in the water on the ground which keeps them cool and the kids fill up their cups and give the dogs some water to drink. We have had the best time with this thing.

Dance Recital 2011

Hayden had her dance recital last Sunday May 29th at Kennedale Performing Arts Center. It's on the Kennedale High School campus and it was a really nice facility. Hayden did so good and looked so cute. The whole class did really well, no meltdowns and everyone danced. Overall a success!!!

Summer vacation!!!!!

I am so excited that it is spring, almost summer time around here. Now if the weather would just cooperate and stay nice it would be perfect. Hayden is done with MDO for this year and she had her last dance class Tuesday. All we have left is her recital on Sunday. I can't wait for that by the way, she is going to be so cute and I will post lots of pics. We are waiting on Accent pools to come and do a little "maintenance" on our pool so we can get it all ready for the summer. I can't wait for low key days of just playing in the pool with the kids and playing outside. We don't have much planned yet for the summer just hanging around the house. I'd like to get out once a week and do something special with them but we'll see. We have plans to go to my BFF's lake house for the 4th with my whole family and her whole family so that will be a blast. The kids are all going to so it will be fun to get them all together. I thought Hayden's pics turned out cute last year but they were even better this year. Don Painter comes and does their pics at Tate Tots and they do a really great job. Love this little angel to the moon and back.

Fun in the Sun party!!!

Today was Hayden's Fun in the Sun end of year party at Mother's Day Out! They wore their swim suits to school and had water tables, bounce houses, snow cones and all sorts of goodies and fun things to do. She only has two days left next week and then we are out for the summer. I am ready!!! She was dressed all cute in her swim shoes and new cover up. You can't hardly tell because blankie always has to make an appearance. I swear she is going to college with this thing. I love it though because it's the last thing that still makes her a baby :(
