Girl's Lake Getaway

Me, my mom, my bestie and her mom, who happens to be my moms best friend, went on a much needed girls get away. We went to their lake house and it was so nice.

This was our view from the back patio. We spent a lot of time back here and then out on the boat dock.

This is kind of an inside joke with the funyuns. Lindsay got me the cutest little wine glass with an M on the front and then some cute PJ's. She also added in the funyuns which were perfect.

Baby Tommy had to come with us of course. He's still little and kind of hard for just anyone to watch him for a whole weekend. He was just one of the girls for the weekend. So cute!!!

They were making peach cobbler and dacquries (sp). Those were their drinks when they were in high school so they were being silly and reminiscing. We had such a good time and it was much needed. I came home rested and refreshed for my babies.

More birthday pics!!!!

We went to Joe T's to celebrate Jack and I's birthdays. We didn't really do a big party for him this year, which I feel horrible about, but we just did a combo family party. We really ran out of weekends and time so next year we will totally make up for it.

Lovin his rice and beans! He was so messy by the time we left.

Sister playing by the fountain.

Bubs enjoying his margarita, just joking!!!!!
Me, Uncle Matty and Jack all on our birthday! Such a cool thing to share with your brother and son. Love these boys!

Birthday's!!!!

September 29th is a very special day in our family. Not only is it Jack's birthday but mine and my youngest brothers birthday as well. I turned the big 30, Jack of course turned 1 and Matthew turned 24. I can't believe my baby is 1 but I really can't believe my baby brother is 24.

We went to Nana's after dinner and she made the famous lamb cake that we have all had on our first birthday. It's a tradition in our family that will go on forever :)

I made spaghetti and meatballs for his birthday dinner. I made the same thing for Hay on her 1st birthday. He loved it, and was covered so we had to take a sink bath and then sister had to join in of course. They had so much fun and we have kind of made it a tradition.

Really into his spaghetti and meatballs!!!
