Just another day

First of all excuse my naked children. Just a typical morning around here. Jack loves to play in sister's room. They usually play really well together until he gets something she doesn't want him to have and then she says "No sir, Bubs" umm wonder where she's heard that before!!!

San Antonio!

Last weekend I went on a girls trip to San Antonio with my mother in law and sister in law. We had a great time! It was very relaxing and we got to eat when we wanted and sleep when we wanted and just chill out and relax. It was a much needed mommy break!!!
Gloria and Amy at Mi Tierra! They have the best margaritas and the food was excellent. We were stuffed after eating a late lunch there we couldn't bear to eat dinner that night.
The first night we got there we went and ate at this little place called Rita's on the riverwalk. Of course every pic has margaritas in it. What else do you order when you got to San Antonio???

Fully potty trained

We are officially fully potty trained. She has been going tee tee in the potty for several weeks now without any accidents and strictly wearing panties. She doesn't wear a pull up at night at all and we have been lucky with no accidents. We still had a few # 2 issues but we are through with that too. I am so proud of her and it was a lot easier than I thought. She did so well and I really believe now that when they are ready, they are ready. I feel a huge weight lifted off of us after this milestone and it wasn't even hard. Thanks goodness! She is getting so big and not a baby anymore but a little girl. I am so excited to plan her birthday party. It is going to be a lollipop/candy theme and I am having so much fun with it already. Can't wait!

9 months

Jackson is 9 months and I can't believe it. He is the most handsome baby boy ever, little biased I know. His stats are 17 pounds 13 ounces and he is 27 inches long. He is a tad on the short side but a chunky boy. He is so much fun right now. He is crawling everywhere and pulling up and walking along things. I think he will probably walk earlier than Hayden. She was 11 1/2 months but he is going to walk sooner I think. He babbles all the time, mostly da da da da. I keep saying ma ma ma ma but no luck yet. He is truly a blessing to our family and just like I said with my first, I can not imagine what life was like without him. We love you baby boy!!!

Summer fun!

Hayden and brother going for a wagon ride with Nana and Papa, Jack doesn't look too happy.
Birthday party at Chuck E Cheese
Swimming in the pool with our cousins!
Hayden will not look at the camera :)

Hayden's first year of Mother's Day Out

Hay and her teacher Mrs. Kimberly. We love her! Hayden still talks about when she is going to see Mrs. Kim.
Hayden's last day of Mothers Day Out was May 26th. We had a great year and absolutely loved her teacher Mrs. Kimberly. I have told her that I hope she is still there when Jack goes to the 2 year old class because I would love him to have her too. Hayden did wonderful in MDO and I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. She'll be going back in August in the 3 year old class just 2 days a week still. I am not ready for her to be away from me anymore than that just yet.

Lindsay's baby shower

Mother's Day weekend we had a baby shower for my best friend in the whole world. She is having a baby boy in July and his name is going to be Thomas Ryder. The baby shower colors were green blue and brown and it turned out so cute. We had a blast.
Opening gifts...
Giving baby T some love...
The little banner I made. It looks way cuter in person.
The food table...yummy!

More ranch pics...

Bathing with Bubba after the long day on the ranch.
My mom and I took Haydi for a ride in the truck all over the ranch. She loved it! We would stop and get out and she was able to run around in the woods. Love my girl!
Bubba caught his first fish, just a little brim. Doesn't he look so interested. (Ignore my horrible face, probably grossed out)
Helping Gaga take the fish off the hook.
Nana is a great fisher women and she is teaching Hayden well.

Playing catch up...

Back in March we went for a weekend at my grandparents ranch. It was my mom and I and the kids. We had such a good time. Hayden had a blast seeing the baby cows and going fishing in Gaga's pond. She got up on the hay bail and posed so cute.
Jack was carried around in the baby bjorn carrier all weekend. Thanks Mimi for the help!
Hayden got to help Gaga prepare the calf formula and feed the babies. Their names are Lucky and Casey.
Little cow girl in her pink boots :)

I don't even know where to start to try and catch up. It's really been like 3 months since I have posted anything worthy. I think I am just going to post a few highlights and then try to be a better blogger and go from there. Sounds good to me! May be some random pics and post but it's just gonna have to do.
