The bows!!!

This is a really bad picture because she refused to look at me. I just wanted you all the see the precious bow she wore to the Christmas party. My friend is making them and Hayden has custom made special ones to go with all her holiday clothes. This one has Rudolph and lights on it to match her shirt. My friends website is fancybabybows.com and she has a page on etsy.com too. Check her out!

MDO Holiday party

Not sure what this face is all about but here she is...this was the morning of her Christmas party for MDO. I didn't even take my camera in for the party. They called it Happy Birthday Jesus party, so precious. We had pizza and fruit and lots of fun crafts and treats. She's on her Christmas break from dance and school until January.

More dance recital pics

This is Hayden and her buddy Adalie. They are so cute and would watch each other and not even the teacher for the dance moves. So funny!

The group :)

My little dancer

Christmas festivities

Hayden had her Christmas recital for dance on the 16th. It was so cute!!! They danced to "I want a hippopatamus for Christmas". They all did really well.

My friend made the tutus, shirts and bows for all the girls. One of the mom's put their names on the front. They turned out so cute!

The Grier side Christmas party was the 18th and as usual we had a great time. Their are so many kids on that side of the family and we have 3 more on the way. We have it at my parents house every year but we are going to have to move it next year to a bigger location.

Hayden and Jack both loved their gifts from their cousins.

I am such a bad blogger lately and I don't think I am even going to attempt to catch up. I'm just going to go from now and hope that I can keep up this time. We have just been super busy the last month or so. We have had some medical issues with my dad as well. He is doing better now so thank God we are through with that crisis for the moment. We have had lots going on and I have a few pics to show. Hope everyone is having as much fun this holiday season as we are. It is so much fun with Hayden this year, she is so into the Santa thing and Rudolph coming on Christmas Eve. Bubba is still too young and not really understanding much but he's fun to tote along and show off his cute Xmas shirts and cute self. :)

Trip to see Santa

Our first trip to see Santa with both babies. I didn't end up taking them last year because I felt Jack was too little and germs, germs. I guess I didn't take Hay because I felt guilty not taking him and I'm almost positive she would not have done well. Anyway, we went to see Santa yesterday and they both did pretty well. This was the best we could do with both looking at the camera. Jack right before and after this moment just stared up at Santa like he was going to grab the beard at any moment. Hayden talked a big talk about sitting in his lap and telling him all she wanted. She froze up a bit when we got up there. Anyway, all was well and turned out decent. The glasses by the way are a whole other post for later.

Happy Holidays to all!!!!

Girl's Lake Getaway

Me, my mom, my bestie and her mom, who happens to be my moms best friend, went on a much needed girls get away. We went to their lake house and it was so nice.

This was our view from the back patio. We spent a lot of time back here and then out on the boat dock.

This is kind of an inside joke with the funyuns. Lindsay got me the cutest little wine glass with an M on the front and then some cute PJ's. She also added in the funyuns which were perfect.

Baby Tommy had to come with us of course. He's still little and kind of hard for just anyone to watch him for a whole weekend. He was just one of the girls for the weekend. So cute!!!

They were making peach cobbler and dacquries (sp). Those were their drinks when they were in high school so they were being silly and reminiscing. We had such a good time and it was much needed. I came home rested and refreshed for my babies.

More birthday pics!!!!

We went to Joe T's to celebrate Jack and I's birthdays. We didn't really do a big party for him this year, which I feel horrible about, but we just did a combo family party. We really ran out of weekends and time so next year we will totally make up for it.

Lovin his rice and beans! He was so messy by the time we left.

Sister playing by the fountain.

Bubs enjoying his margarita, just joking!!!!!
Me, Uncle Matty and Jack all on our birthday! Such a cool thing to share with your brother and son. Love these boys!

Birthday's!!!!

September 29th is a very special day in our family. Not only is it Jack's birthday but mine and my youngest brothers birthday as well. I turned the big 30, Jack of course turned 1 and Matthew turned 24. I can't believe my baby is 1 but I really can't believe my baby brother is 24.

We went to Nana's after dinner and she made the famous lamb cake that we have all had on our first birthday. It's a tradition in our family that will go on forever :)

I made spaghetti and meatballs for his birthday dinner. I made the same thing for Hay on her 1st birthday. He loved it, and was covered so we had to take a sink bath and then sister had to join in of course. They had so much fun and we have kind of made it a tradition.

Really into his spaghetti and meatballs!!!

Busy weeks ahead!!!

Probably won't have much time for blogging for the next couple of weeks. We are going to be very busy around here. This weekend I am getting away for a much needed mommy vacay and birthday trip. I will be the big 30 next week so I wanted to celebrate as big as a mommy with two little ones can. My very sweet hubby is keeping the kids and me, my bestie, my mom and my bestie's mom (which also happens to be my mom's bff) are going to their lake house for the weekend. I am so excited to relax on their boat dock and have a glass of wine, or two, and enjoy the relaxation. It will be much needed!!! I'll post pics of the weekend at some time when the madness settles down. Next week is mine and Jack's and my little bro's bday all on the same day so we will be celebrating that as well. Next weekend we are having a combo party/dinner at Joe T's. Should be lots of fun!!!! I also have my brother and sis in law's couples baby shower next weekend so I am really looking forward to that too. The the next week we are leaving on a Tennison family vacation. The whole gang is going up to North Arkansas/Missouri to see Scott's Meme. Should be lots of fun and hopefully the weather will be fall like. It's always so much prettier up there so maybe we can enjoy some fall weather. Once we get back I think we can get back to a somewhat normal work/school schedule. Just a busy time of year around our house. Then the holidays will start and the madness will begin again. Oh well, gotta love it! Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Crazy man!!!

Jack is a climber and right now is attempting to and getting into any and everything. Yesterday I was cleaning the kitchen after lunch, that's why Jack is in just a diaper he was covered in his food. Anyway, Hayden was in the living room watching a movie and Jack was in his room playing. I could hear him "talking" and his toys making noise so I knew he was ok. He was in there for about 5 minutes and I hear him kind of fuss loudly and growl. I ran in there because I was afraid he had gotten somewhere and was stuck and low and behold look what I found. Little stinker, I don't know how he managed to get into his drawer but he did and was about to climb to the top of his dresser next. Goodness, he is a crazy man!!!

Dance pics

First day of class, doing their stretches

They were all so cute

Hayden did a really good job and followed the teachers directions pretty well.

All ready to go!!!!

We had a little meltdown before we left. Don't exactly remember what happened but I'm sure it was very dramatic. Note the red eyes, poor baby girl!

Party Party!!!

The birthday banner

Opening gifts! She got tons of stuff and we are so thankful for all our family and friends for coming. Hayden is one lucky little girl!

The yummy food

The cupcake cake, turned out so cute.

Birthday party crafts

I did a candy bar and these were the cute little glass bowls and jars that I put them in. I don't think I have a pic of the finished product though. Hopefully someone took a pic for me.

The birthday banner I made. The cricut is my new best friend.

The door wreath. It's hard to read but it says the party is here.

Lollipop decorations I made. Again, I don't know if I have any pics of them actually decorated and around the house. You get the idea though.

The goody bags for the candy bar. The sticker on it says "thank you for making my 3rd birthday so sweet" It has a big H and Hayden across it. The other sign was displayed on the candy bar table. Hayden's sweet shop.

First Day!

Last week Hayden started back at Mother's Day Out. This was on our way out the door as we were finishing up getting ready. She does so great when I drop her off. She puts her things away in her cubby and gives me kisses and hugs and tells me bye bye.

Back pack on and all ready to leave. Daddy went into work late and went with me to drop her off. She was so proud of her class room and had a great first day.

At the fountain in front of school. She was so wound up she would not look at me for the picture.

Dance class!

We registered Haydie for dance class a couple of weeks ago. She won't start until Aug 30th but we had to model our new shoes and play around a bit. She's going to take ballet/tap/tumbling. It's going to be so cute and I can't wait for it to start.

I'll post more pics when we actually start and we see how she does.

Meet the teacher night

A couple of weeks ago before school started we went up to Tate Springs and met her teacher. She is in the 3 year old class now and her new teacher is Mrs. Danielle. Her class room is a lot bigger this year and it looks like there is going to be lots of fun new activities for her to do. She has her own cubby like last year but this year she goes in each morning and puts her lunch and nap mat and backpack away herself. So cute! She was very excited to go and see her new class and we can't wait to start back.
