I am so excited that it is spring, almost summer time around here. Now if the weather would just cooperate and stay nice it would be perfect. Hayden is done with MDO for this year and she had her last dance class Tuesday. All we have left is her recital on Sunday. I can't wait for that by the way, she is going to be so cute and I will post lots of pics. We are waiting on Accent pools to come and do a little "maintenance" on our pool so we can get it all ready for the summer. I can't wait for low key days of just playing in the pool with the kids and playing outside. We don't have much planned yet for the summer just hanging around the house. I'd like to get out once a week and do something special with them but we'll see. We have plans to go to my BFF's lake house for the 4th with my whole family and her whole family so that will be a blast. The kids are all going to so it will be fun to get them all together. Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!!!!

Today was Hayden's Fun in the Sun end of year party at Mother's Day Out! They wore their swim suits to school and had water tables, bounce houses, snow cones and all sorts of goodies and fun things to do. She only has two days left next week and then we are out for the summer. I am ready!!! She was dressed all cute in her swim shoes and new cover up. You can't hardly tell because blankie always has to make an appearance. I swear she is going to college with this thing. I love it though because it's the last thing that still makes her a baby :(
My sweet angel girl! She is getting so big and I can't hardly stand it. I just love this little girl!!!!!

Hayden danced at Mayfest this year and it just happened to be on Mother's Day also. We all headed out there early so we could enjoy the day and spend it together before Hayden danced.
She did really well despite it being mid 90's and she was so tired.
The group, they danced to the Lion King, Just Can't Wait to be King.
Mrs. Ann Marie getting them all in their spots before the show.
After she danced Hayden wanted to go in this big bounce house. She went down the slide over and over again but she had such a good time. I wish we could have done more but we got out their early and by the time she danced it was so hot and both the kids were hot and tired so we just did the bounce house and headed home. We ate and walked around before she danced and man was it hot. We are going to for sure make this a yearly thing and I think everyone enjoyed it. It was a great way to spend Mother's Day and I hope everyone had a great day.
I played photographer for a minute with my old camera. ;)
Just a beautiful day we didn't want to come in for dinner.
Makes me very ready for summer time. Can't wait for Hayden to be out of school so we can play everyday and get in the pool.
Love these two!!!!!
Finally the weather is nice and we can enjoy spending some time outside. Everybody is well and we are through with that awful winter to spring transition so we are loving it. These are just a random day spent outside playing. In the evening when Daddy gets home it's always a big deal so if the weather is nice we are outside playing and waiting to greet him.
Sitting on the swing waiting on Daddy.

Dance class is almost over for this year :( Hayden has loved it so much. She has never not wanted to go and has always done her best and been so enthusiastic about learning.
We have a performance this weekend at Mayfest and then the spring recital is at the end of the month. So really we only have a few more classes. Mommy is sad too because I have met some really great moms and have enjoyed our hour to chit chat while the girls are in class. We are all going to sign up for the same class next year and bonus is it will be the same teacher. That will be great for the girls because they have all become really comfortable with Mrs. Ann Marie.
I know she's my child but she does really well in class. I think we have found a "thing" for her. Don't get me wrong, we are going to try lots of hobbies and sports. We hope to try soccer in the fall after she turns 4 and then I would really like for her to try cheerleading also. We will see. Jack hasn't even started stuff yet so it really is all depending time and our schedule.
This is just part of the class. We were missing 2 girls that day. They are so stinkin cute.
Getting ready to go...She is always waiting on me and having to say "come on mommy, lets go".

Jackson Daniel turned 18 months on March 29th. I'm a little late posting this but anywho...
Jack went for his 18 month well visit on April 13th. His weight was 20 lbs even and his length was 30.5. He is not even on the chart for his weight, tiny little guy and his length is about the 5th %. Dr. Joki was pleased with his development other wise and just thinks he is so active that there is nothing to be concerned about. He said we would just watch it and make sure he's gaining by his 2 year check up. He got 3 shots to get him all up to date on his immunizations and he did so well as always. I'm very lucky that both my babies tolerate their immunizations so well and have never had any problems or reactions. Otherwise, everything is great. He is super smart, which we already knew ;). Talking well, developing great. He is much different than Hayden was though. She was much more independent and he always has to know where I am and be checking on me. He is definitely mischevious and gets into EVERYTHING. He is super busy and if he is not sleeping or eating he is on the move. Just very active and tiny. His sister is 3 1/2 and still only 28 lbs so I don't think he has much of a chance. We just love our little Bubba and can't imagine what life was like without him. I say that all the time and felt the same way after our Hayden was born but I really can't believe he hasn't always been with us. Scott and I say all the time, what did we ever do before our kids. We must have had a really boring life, ha. Anyway, we are so lucky to have Jack and are so blessed that God chose us to be his parents and to take care of this little angel. We love you Jackson!!!!!
We did the March of Dimes walk back on April 16th. We walked for my sweet baby niece Payton Marie Grier. She left us way to early and this was a way for the family to give back and I think it was really good for my sister in law and brother.
The Mommy and Daddy of an angel.
Nana and Casey (my brother)
Funny she is leaning on the sign that says no parking or STANDING.
Me and mom...we did the 5 mile walk in about 2 1/2 hours. It was at White Rock lake and was just beautiful. The weather was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better day.
Just a cute pic of my babies...lookin' all springy. I'm so ready for warm weather and summer time. Usually I'm a fall and holiday type girl but this year I am really excited about summer. I think it's because they are both older and I think we will have so much fun this year. We have lots of fun things planned this summer and we are super excited. I'm just ready to get the kids out in the pool and just play play play. Plus, by Haydie Kate will be out of school. I appreciate the break don't get me wrong but I love having both of them home with me. I really miss her when she's gone.
